Despite ranking in the top two, only behind Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts actually took a step back in a way from his 2022 season. 2023 started decent for the 25-year-old All-Pro and Pro Bowl signal caller but it tailed off in a big way the second half of last year. Hurts dealt with a dislocated finger and had multiple issues that affected his on-field play, including disputes with star wide receiver A.J. Brown and play-calling problems with his former offensive coordinator Brian Johnson, who is now with the rival Washington Commanders. With offensive coordinator…

For the past three seasons, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been either the top-ranked or second-ranked at his position for fantasy football. However, that was with wide receiver Stefon Diggs, as the Minnesota Vikings traded him to Buffalo in 2020. In 2019, Allen without Diggs was the 6th ranked quarterback and during his rookie season in 2018, he was the 21st ranked as their starter from day one as a former eighth overall pick. After a four-year run with the dynamic duo, the Bills this offseason traded the veteran Pro Bowl pass catcher to the Houston Texans, which leaves…

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams went from a late-round or even undrafted in most fantasy leagues to winning championships in 2023. Entering his third season, the day-three draft pick from 2022 won the starting job in his second year this past season and was one of the best rushers in the NFL. Despite injuries and concerns with his speed, that didn’t stop 23-year-old All-Pro and Pro Bowler from having the second-highest average point total among all running backs last year, only behind Christian McCaffrey with 21.3. Heading into 2024, can Williams replicate his electric second season or is…

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White went from dead zone mid-round pick to a fantasy football hero in 2023. Last year, the 25-year-old was a common 7th-round pick in his first year as a starter for fantasy football drafts. The former 3rd-round pick from Arizona State took a big step forward last season and will look to surpass 1,000 rushing yards in 2024. For fantasy, if he reaches that goal, White would be worthy of his late-round 2 or early-round 3 ADP and could be a solid running back starter in PPR. The quarterback position for fantasy was strange and was just not as prominent compared to past years in 2023, with the reigning MVP Lamar Jackson included. Despite two MVP titles, it hasn’t always translated to fantasy success, compared to his 2019 season, where he was the top quarterback in fantasy. This past season, Jackson finished as the 4th ranked quarterback, but had ups and downs throughout the season. The Baltimore Raven’s 27-year-old star quarterback has recently been in the news for losing weight, as he wants to be more agile, dropping from 215 to 205 from his 2023 playing weight.…

With Lamar Jackson’s speed and Derrick Henry’s size at 6’2″ and 247 pounds, good luck to defenses against the Ravens trying to stop a read option in 2024. “The King,” despite getting over 2,000 carries in his 8 seasons with Tennessee, his so-called “cliff” doesn’t seem to be close yet, and has been uber-productive as a featured part of the Titans offense. I could see him getting back to his 2022 form, as Henry won’t benefit from getting more volume, but the involvement he will get could result in more yards and touchdowns potentially in Baltimore. This deadly combination is…

The former Philadelphia Eagles running back D’Andre Swift was the first free agent to a new team in 2024, signing with the Chicago Bears. The 25-year-old has dealt with multiple injuries but was relatively healthy this past season due to the type of offense he was in, managing his carries and splitting the workload at times. This was dependent on each game’s flow, as Swift will likely be the lead back for the Bears but could split some time with other backs on the roster. After attaining career highs in yards in 2023, can the recent Pro-Bowler be as, if…

With subpar quarterback play the last two seasons, Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is coming into 2024 with a vengeance. Aaron Rodgers should be back and fully healthy coming off the season-ending torn Achilles this upcoming year and has had no setbacks in OTAs at 40 years old. Just having the veteran MVP at the helm will likely help out everyone on the Jets offense, including the biggest benefactor in the third-year pro-Wilson. Along with the offseason additions on the offensive line and more weapons for the Jets, will this be the year of a potential top-10 receiver in the…

After drafting Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. in the third round of my 10-man home fantasy league and trading him after a few weeks, I regret that move looking back even if it was the right decision at the time for my roster. Especially when I lost to that same team I traded him to in the fantasy championship. Sometimes you don’t know you drafted a fantasy stud till it’s too late. Anyway, now the star rusher for the Jags is being drafted at the top of the second round of most fantasy leagues, as he rated higher…

Kenneth Walker has been a scoring guru for the Seattle Seahawks for the past two seasons. Although relying on touchdowns and big plays is risky, depending on where he goes in your fantasy draft, will be a gamble worth taking. With new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, former head coach for the Washington Huskies, the Seahawks offense will be vastly different for 2024. Despite more three-receiver sets and more pass-heavy looks, with two capable backs, Seattle should still rely on running the ball with Geno Smith at quarterback. While capable as a veteran, leaning on their rushing attack on the back…
