Artemi Panarin 2024-2025 Fantasy Outlook

Artemi Panarin is coming off by far the best season of his career, Panarin had 49 goals and 120 points, the only time he’s reached 100+ in his career and he’s crushed by the 100 mark.

Panarin became the fastest player in Rangers history to record 400 points with the Rangers with the fewest games with 310, beating out Rangers Legend Mark Messier who previously held the record.

Artemi Panarin’s Career Production

Panarin was not selected in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft when he was eligible and started playing in the KHL, but in 2015 Panarin signed a 2-year, entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks.

In his rookie season in the NHL, Panarin recorded 30 goals and 47 assists for 77 points in 80 games, which led all rookies in scoring and was top 10 overall in the NHL.

Artemi Panarin was awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy for the Rookie of the Year in 2016.

In December of 2016, Panarin signed a new 2-year, $12 million contract with Chicago for the 2017–18 and 2018–19 season, but Artemi Panarin was traded in 2017.

Panarin was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets along with Tyler Motte and a 6th-round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for Brandon Saad, Anton Forsberg, and a 5th-round pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.

In his first season in Columbus, Panarin surpassed the Blue Jackets’ franchise points record with 82 points 27 goals, 55 assists in 81 games.

The next season Panarin would break his own record, setting a new Blue Jackets franchise point-scoring record with 87 points 28 goals, 59 assists in 79 games.

Artemi Panarin hit free agency and signed a massive deal with the New York Rangers.

Panarin signed a 7 year , $81,500,000 contract with the New York Rangers, including $74,500,000 signing bonus, $81,500,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $11,642,857.

In his first season in New York which was shortened due to COVID, Panarin put up 32 goals and 95 points in 68 games, he was a Hart Trophy Finalist where it eventually went to Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers.

Artemi Panarin is also going to be on the 1st Powerplay unit with Chris Kreider, Vincent Trocheck, Adam Fox and Mika Zibanejad.

Although not the “1st” Line Panarin is on an amazing line with 2 top forwards, his production may not be 120 points but he should get close to or above 100+ again next season
