AJ Brown has been a revelation for the Eagles’ passing game ever since his acquisition during the 2022 NFL Draft from the Tennessee Titans. Brown is set to be a part of the reigning Super Bowl Champions for a long time over the next couple of seasons, as he is signed through 2029. Brown has been that elite receiver that quarterback Jalen Hurts desperately needed after his 2021 season to pair with Devonta Smith. Brown has been a strong, consistent fantasy option over these last few years, including 2024. Here’s a look at the full Outlook for “Swole Batman.”
AJ Brown’s 2024 Fantasy Production
Brown reached 1,000 yards receiving for the third straight season for the Eagles in 2024, especially after missing a few games earlier in the season. He ended up with 1,079 yards on 67 receptions and seven touchdowns for 216.9 fantasy points on ESPN Fantasy in 2024. “Swole Batman” brought attention to the book Inner Excellence last season when he was seen reading the book on the sidelines.
In the second half of the season, he displayed that inner excellence, especially in fantasy. He finished as WR10 in points per game with 14.1 according to FantasyPros. He had three games over 21 fantasy points in his last six games played around fantasy playoff time. Which was a great sign to see because that helps people out a lot late in the season. Plus, if AJ wasn’t hurt last year, he would have more production obviously, so with those things in mind, here’s his 2025 projections.
AJ Brown’s 2025 Projections
Brown is projected to have 85 receptions for 1,240 yards and eight touchdowns for a total of 255.04 fantasy points on ESPN. With those projections, AJ is currently rated 12th overall (9th WR) on ESPN’s rankings. He is consistently a first or second-round pick in redrafts these last few years as an Eagle, and the fantasy owners who have had solid teams have had Brown on their rosters.
Fantasy Pros has Brown in ECR Draft Rankings as the 14th player off the board in redrafts. Brown is one of those Wide Receivers that will thrive no matter what the situation presents him in fantasy and will for years to come. Speaking of the years to come, here’s his Dynasty Outlook.
AJ Brown Dynasty Outlook
AJ, as long as he stays with the Eagles, will be the No.1 in Philadelphia. Meaning that he will be the first option in the passing game a lot of the time. The duo of him and Devonta Smith is going to keep up the pace of the passing game as Jalen Hurts keeps evolving. And if the production of Saquon suffers a slight regression, Brown and Smith will excel, I believe, in the passing game for not only this upcoming season, but the next few years as long as everyone is healthy and available through all 17 games. Brown will also keep winning 1v1 matchups very often as long as he doesn’t lose a step.
Final Thoughts on AJ Brown
AJ Brown is one of those Fantasy receivers that a lot of people will covet, especially after Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson are off the board. He’s in that mix with Nico Collins, CeeDee Lamb, and Brian Thomas Jr in fantasy. I think he has the potential to be WR4 this season if everything goes well for the defending champions and his health.
Also, for the Long term, Dynasty Owners should be happy with his production throughout the rest of his career in Philadelphia. Total Apex Fantasy is the place to be for more NFL Dynasty Outlooks the rest of the offseason. As well as NBA playoff DFS and MLB DFS.
