May 3rd MLB DFS Starts
SP Gavin Stone, Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Atlanta Braves ($6,900 – DraftKings)
Gavin Stone in his last outing against the Toronto Blue Jays was a great one. Stone pitched a strong 7.0 innings in Rodgers Centre, striking out two batters but also gave up a home run.
While the home run isn’t good, he still did excellent work against the Blue Jays in hostile territory. While he hasn’t faced the Braves yet, he has momentum from his last start and could do well against the Braves.
1B Jon Singleton, Seattle Mariners at Houston Astros ($2,700 – DraftKings)
Jon Singleton would also be a great starter for your fantasy picks today after a strong night for the Astros. The Astros infielder went 2-3 with a two-run homer in the win against the Cleveland Guardians.
Houston’s infielder is doing great work for the Astros hitting and could do more against the Mariners in his first appearance against them. While his hitting hasn’t been strong against the Mariners, being the hot hand for the Astros.
OF Steven Kwan, Cleveland Guardians at Los Angeles Angels ($4,800 – DraftKings)
In the last game, Kwan had gone 0-4 in last night’s game against the Astros but could have a strong game. With a great game two nights ago against the Astros going 3-5 and driving in two RBIs.
Along with potentially having a strong game, he will face an Angels team that is weak and could break out. The Angels’ pitching has been mediocre this season and it would be easy pickings for Steven Kwan.
May 3rd MLB DFS Sits
SS Ha-Seog Kim, San Diego Padres at Arizona Diamondbacks ($4,200 – DraftKings)
For this slate of games for the fantasy side of baseball, Kim could be on the bench even with a home run in his last game. The second baseman, for the Padres, has been hit-and-miss for the team and MLB DFS fantasy.
In his last game, Ha-Seong Kim got a home run but it was from a 1-5 performance. The Padres will be facing a strong Diamondbacks pitcher so he should be sitting down tonight.
OF Taylor Ward, Cleveland Guardians at Los Angeles Angels ($4,900 – DraftKings)
While Taylor Ward had a decent game with a 1-2 game against the Phillies, he might have a bad game tonight. The numbers for Ward are good but against a Guardians team that has strong pitching could harm your MLB DFS teams.
Even with a strong start of the season so far, the Guardians pitching could do well against the Angels bats. Ward could have a bad game and should be on the bench for tonight.
3B Eugenio Suarez, San Deigo Padres at Arizona Diamondbacks ($3,900 – DraftKings)
While the stats for Suarez in RBIs are good, he is an inconsistent bat for most of his career. Suarez went 1-4 with an RBI against the Dodgers, he was not good. The Diamondbacks’ third baseman, has been a bad bat for the MLB DFS fantasy teams. While the scoring for the third baseman is there, he is not good at hitting. He will need to be on the bench tonight against the Padres hitting.
May 3rd MLB DFS Best Stack
The two players that could be the best stack tonight in these MLB DFS games are the duo of Steven Kwan and Jon Singleton. The duo will do well against their opponents tonight in their respective games. Jon Singleton would be doing wonders for the Astros hitting core against the Mariners pitching tonight after a strong game.
Getting big hits has helped players in the past, and with Singleton, he could do well tonight. Kwan could also come up big against the Angels pitching. The Angels pitching has been awful for them this season and the Guardians will take full advantage of it all. Even with a weak performance last night, Steven Kwan could have a fun night for your MLB DFS teams.
