The Truth of the Market: 2025 Dynasty Risers and Fallers

Dynasty fantasy football is a cruel, unforgiving beast. You spend months (sometimes years) convincing yourself that a prospect is the “next big thing,” only to watch them implode while your league-mate picks up a random guy off waivers who proceeds to drop 40 points.

We are heading into Week 16. If you’re still contending, congratulations. If you aren’t, you’re already looking at your roster and wondering which of these bums deserves a spot in 2026. We’ve combed through the wreckage of the last few weeks to identify the true market movers.

Here is your no-nonsense guide to the 2025 dynasty risers and fallers.

2025 Dynasty Risers: The “Finally” Crew

These are the guys making you look like a genius (or making you regret that trade you made three weeks ago).

Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL)
Can we finally stop the slander? For years, owning Kyle Pitts felt like a cruel social experiment conducted by the fantasy gods. But then he goes out and drops a career game with 45.6 fantasy points. We’re talking 11 catches, 166 yards, and three touchdowns. It was the fifth-best fantasy outing for a tight end of all time. He’s been trending up for weeks now, but this explosion confirms what the believers screamed about: the talent is real. If you held onto him through the dark times, take a victory lap.

Trevor Lawrence (QB – JAX)
Is it pretty? No. Is he winning actual football games? Barely. But for fantasy? Trevor Lawrence has turned into a cheat code. He just dropped 44.3 points, throwing for 330 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for another. Since Week 9, he’s effectively been an elite QB1. He’s averaging nearly 30 rushing yards per game and finding the end zone with his legs. Suddenly, that massive contract doesn’t look quite as laughable for dynasty owners.

TreVeyon Henderson (RB – NE)
The Patriots’ backfield is usually a place where fantasy value goes to die, but Henderson is changing the narrative. With 148 yards on just 14 carries and two massive touchdown runs (52 and 65 yards), he’s showing the explosiveness we crave. 30.1 fantasy points in a single week is a statement game. He’s forcing his way into the long-term conversation.

Juwan Johnson (TE – NO)
Look, I know what you’re thinking. “Juwan Johnson? Really?” But listen, with injuries plaguing the Saints’ receiving corps, Johnson is emerging as the de facto number two option next to Chris Olave. The reports suggest he could be a borderline TE1 down the stretch. He might not be the sexiest name on this list, and he lacks explosive upside, but in the wasteland that is the tight end landscape, volume is king.

2025 Dynasty Fallers: The Sinking Ships

If you own these guys, I’m sorry. You’re holding a bag of rocks while trying to swim.

Joe Burrow (QB – CIN)
This one hurts. Burrow put up a pathetic 5.5 fantasy points recently, throwing two picks and looking generally disinterested. The scariest part isn’t the stat line; it’s the whispers about his “desire to compete long-term.” When you start hearing rumors that your franchise QB is checking out mentally because the season is lost, that’s a massive red flag. His dynasty floor just fell through the basement.

Alvin Kamara (RB – NO)
Father Time is undefeated, and he’s currently beating the brakes off Alvin Kamara. The efficiency is gone. He’s averaging a gross 3.6 yards per carry and a career-low 0.72 yards per route run. He’s sitting at RB32 in PPR points per game. We aren’t banking on a turnaround in 2025. If you can sell him to someone nostalgic for 2018 Kamara, do it yesterday.

Ashton Jeanty (RB – LV)
The rookie wall is real, and Jeanty ran face-first into it. He’s averaging 3.5 yards per carry on the season, and an abysmal 2.68 over the last five weeks. When you combine bad efficiency with a bad offense, you get a roster clogger. He needs a miracle or a massive play to be relevant, and you can’t rely on miracles in dynasty.

Travis Kelce (TE – KC)
It feels sacrilegious to put the GOAT here, but the writing is on the wall. There is talk that he could disappear from the dynasty radar entirely if he retires. Even if he stays, are we really expecting elite production at age 35+? The window to sell was last year. Now, you’re just hoping for one last ride.

Breece Hall (RB – NYJ)
This isn’t entirely his fault, but Breece Hall is suffering from “everyone knows we have no quarterback” syndrome. Defenses are stacking the box, daring the Jets to throw, and the result is back-to-back games under six PPR points for Hall. The talent is elite, but the situation is toxic. He’s a risky play right now, and his dynasty value is taking a hit simply because his team is incompetent.

Ladd McConkey (WR – LAC)
Remember the hype? It’s cooling off fast. He’s had just 84 yards across the last four weeks. When you’re fourth on the team in targets, you aren’t a dynasty foundational piece; you’re a bench stash. The “next Cooper Kupp” comparisons need to be put on ice until he shows he can command the ball consistently.
