The NFC South has been a rollercoaster, and both the Falcons and Buccaneers enter this week needing stability, but neither offense is making that easy for fantasy managers. Tampa Bay is spiraling at the worst possible time, dragging several fantasy assets down with it. Atlanta didn’t exactly inspire confidence last week either. Expect tough sledding, but there are a few bright spots worth trusting.
Start ’Em for Buccaneers vs. Falcons

Bucky Irving – RB, Buccaneers
Irving continues to carve out meaningful work, and his receiving touchdown last week only boosts his value. Tampa’s offense may be sputtering, but Irving is becoming one of the few reliable pieces. Start with confidence as a PPR-friendly RB2.
Chris Godwin – WR, Buccaneers
After posting 90 yards last week, Godwin has quietly found his groove again. With Tampa searching for stability, expect him to be a volume-based asset once more. Pencil him in as a strong WR2.
Emeka Egbuka – WR, Buccaneers
The rookie has been quiet lately, but this matchup sets up well for a bounce-back. Tampa needs a spark, and Egbuka’s usage still indicates opportunity. He’s a FLEX with upside.
Mike Evans – WR, Buccaneers
Evans returns and is listed as questionable, so expectations should be tempered. But if you need a big-play shot in your FLEX, Evans is your guy. Risky—but high ceiling.
Bijan Robinson – RB, Falcons
Despite Atlanta’s shakiness, Bijan’s receiving production has picked up significantly. He’s involved regardless of game script, keeping him locked in as a must-start RB1/2.
Kyle Pitts – TE, Falcons
Pitts has quietly seen increases in both targets and production. In a tight end landscape lacking consistent options, he’s a strong start this week.
Sit ’Em for Buccaneers vs. Falcons
Cade Otton – TE, Buccaneers
Otton simply hasn’t produced. Even in favorable matchups, he’s disappeared from fantasy relevance. Sit until further notice.
Rachaad White – RB, Buccaneers
White’s usage has taken a clear hit, with Irving emerging as the more dynamic option. He’s no longer getting the lion’s share of touches, making him a risky, and likely disappointing, start.
Darnell Mooney – WR, Falcons
The production just isn’t there. Mooney’s involvement is inconsistent, and the upside is minimal. Leave him on the bench.
Tyler Allgeier – RB, Falcons
Allgeier’s touches have dipped, and while he has some presence in the passing game, it hasn’t translated into fantasy points. Without scoring upside, he’s a firm sit.
Final Word
Neither offense is trending upward, so expectations should remain realistic. But between emerging roles (Irving), revived target shares (Godwin), and reliable stars (Bijan), there are still fantasy points to be mined in this NFC South matchup.
