Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles DFS Start Em’ Sit Em’| Week 11, 2025

After the Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions play on Sunday, many fans will likely want them to rematch in the NFC Championship. Both teams feature some of the best offenses in football with solid defenses to complement them. There really is a multitude of options to pick from for fantasy here, since both teams have several threats. Not every threat has a great matchup, though. Here, it’s definitely important not to pick up the biggest name but who’s been playing well as of recent.

Lock of the Game

Jahmyr Gibbs

Detroit Lions

AT

Philadelphia Eagles

(7-2)

Gibbs is becoming more deadly simply because of all the touchdowns he is scoring. There is no need to make him the goal-line back with David Montgomery in town, and yet Gibbs has four touchdowns in the last three games alone. He usually is more than capable of going for 90 yards or more; the touchdowns simply make him a must-start. Detroit will likely want to feed Gibbs, at $7.3K on DK, early to quiet the Eagles’ pass rush a bit.

Jameson Williams

Detroit Lions

AT

Philadelphia Eagles

(7-2)

Williams has been used in various ways by the Lions in screens and such. Some trickery might come in handy against the pass defense of the Philadelphia Eagles. They will likely try to pressure Goff as well as cover Amon-Ra St. Brown as best they can, so Williams might get more targets than he is accustomed to. He will also come for a much cheaper price tag at $5.8K on DK in DFS than St. Brown.

Dallas Goedert

Philadelphia Eagles

VS

Detroit Lions

(6-3)

Goedert has been a popular red zone target for Jalen Hurts in recent history. He caught two touchdowns against the Giants and four touchdowns total in the last five games. He tends to do better in high-scoring games; he was kept out of the endzone against Carolina, which was only a 10-7 game. This matchup with the Lions looks like it will be more high-scoring, though, which makes Goedert a likely candidate to score at $6.6K on DK.

Sit ‘Em

Saquon Barkley

Philadelphia Eagles

VS.

Detroit Lions

(6-3)

It never feels good recommending to sit Saquon Barkley, but this season is special regarding his fantasy output. Barkley does have a tendency to have a poor game here and there. In fact, he is coming off a bad week; he only rushed for 60 yards against Green Bay. That’s likely due to Green Bay having the fourth-best rush defense in the league. The bad news for Barkley is that the Lions have the fifth-best run defense in the league. That, combined with the bad game script for Barkley, because there might be heavy passing, means it’s actually not a good week to start Barkley at $7.6K on DK.

David Montgomery

Detroit Lions

AT

Philadelphia Eagles

(7-2)

Montgomery is usually worth a start because of the work he gets in the red zone. He has his best games when the Lions dominate, though, and it doesn’t look like they’re going to dominate the Eagles. Montgomery had 71 yards against the Commanders, who took a huge loss. The game against the Vikings was much closer, though, and he only had 41 yards. The Lions might need Gibbs to rush more here, so Montgomery isn’t guaranteed the work that he usually gets at $5.2K on DK.

Fade of the Game

Issac TeSlaa

Detroit Lions

AT

Philadelphia Eagles

(7-2)

This rookie has so far been used in very specific situations, usually to get a first down. He had one target against the Commanders, but it was an eleven-yard gain. He had another 12-yard catch against the Bengals. In between those catches, though, TeSlaa had virtually no yardage for three straight weeks. That doesn’t make him an attractive play for DFS even at min $3K on DK, especially on a team with plenty of other options who should have better games.
