Anthony Edwards 2025-26 Fantasy Outlook: Will Ant-Man Finally Be That ELITE Fantasy Option

Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards has had great playoff fantasy numbers in his career, as he has been to the last two Western Conference Finals. Now, it might be finally the year it clicks for him in the regular season, as well as at least productive fantasy-wise. There is no doubt that Ant-Man is one of the top players in the league at the moment, but being a first-round pick in fantasy requires more consistent play in the 40s and 50 point range. I have faith that he will be this season, but if you don’t, it’s understandable. But make sure you read this outlook before you make your decision.

Anthony Edwards 2024-25 Production

Edwards averaged 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.2 steals per game on 44.7% shooting from the field in 2024-25. His biggest improvement was his ability to shoot the three-point shot, as he had more volume and efficiency from behind the arc last season, with 4.1 three-pointers made per game.

As he continues to grow as a player, his fantasy production should go up as well, but last season he was 19th in fantasy points per game scoring average according to ESPN, so there is the disappointment factor, but the potential is there just look at the projections for this season.

ESPN has the following projection for Edwards in the 2025-26 Season: 27.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals per game, with a slight dip in his 3PMs at 3.9. ESPN has his shooting at 44.9% from the field in those projections, and they think he has top-five fantasy potential this season to finish, and I 100% agree with that assessment, IF HE CONTINUES HIS efficiency from THREE from last season, which I think he can do. But on the other hand, he could slip in that three-point production and efficiency slightly; it might be a risky proposition because his defensive numbers aren’t like SGA’s numbers defensively.

Final Thoughts

I think Ant-Man is going to be one of the top fantasy performers in 2025-26 because I think he’s going to add even more to his game this season. I just don’t know what it is 100 percent yet. I also think he’s going to continue to improve his efficiencies from the field and three-point range and could elevate to a 28-29 point per game scorer this season. I would draft Edwards in the middle of the first round in that 6-8 spot in redrafts. For more Fantasy Basketball outlooks, follow along on Total Apex Fantasy and Bets.
