Cowboys vs. Giants DFS Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 13

Thanksgiving week is here and today’s Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants DFS for  Week 13 of the NFL season is here. Thanksgiving will bring families together along with fantasy players for the FOX game in Dallas. While both teams are having bad seasons, fantasy players could still win cash prizes and spend time with their families, even the annoying relatives.

New York’s offense has been a disaster but could have a solid running game against the Cowboys’ defense. While the Dallas defense still has stars, the Giants run game is something to enjoy for fantasy players. Some Cowboy players could have a great game on Thanksgiving. The Cowboys’ offense could give players a memorable Thanksgiving against the Giants’ defeated defense.

Fantasy players for this Thanksgiving will be amazing for this NFC East DFS game and could enjoy the feast and win cash prizes.

Cowboys vs. Giants DFS Start ‘Ems

To start Thursday’s mid-afternoon DFS game, it should be a Dallas receiver and tight end. The Giants’ defense has been deflating with a weak secondary and run defense and the Cowboys’ offense could do well for fantasy players on Thanksgiving.

Jalen Tolbert, Wide Receiver (3,800-DraftKings/4,200-Fanduel)

A player to start this Thanksgiving is Jalen Tolbert, Dallas’ receiver. Tolbert this season has 410 receiving yards with 4 touchdowns. In his last game, Tolbert had 22 receiving yards with 4 targets, 2 receptions, and a touchdown.

Tolbert has been quietly becoming a solid receiver for Dallas and could have a breakout game. The Cowboys’ young receiver could have a solid 50-yard reception game against the Giants’ weak secondary. With both teams being dysfunctional, fantasy players could take advantage of the Giants’ weak defense for Tolbert owners.

Luke Schoonmaker, Tight End (3,400-DraftKings/4,300-Fanduel)

Another player who should be on your radar is Luke Schoonmaker of Dallas. During the win against the Commanders, Schoonmaker had 3 catches for 55 yards and a touchdown.

Schoonmaker after replacing Jake Ferguson has been solid as a tight end this season and could have another solid game. Fantasy players could see Schoonmaker have another solid game against the Giants with a touchdown and over 50 yards.

Cowboys vs. Giants DFS Sit ‘Ems

On the flip side, here are a few players we are sitting in during this prime-time Turkey bowl game. Fantasy players should avoid the Giants’ receivers due to their messy quarterback situation. The Giants offense has been a disaster this season and could face a challenge for fantasy players in Dallas.

Darius Slayton, Wide Receiver (4,400-DraftKings/6,800-Fanduel)

A player that should be on the fantasy bench this Thanksgiving is Darius Slayton of the Giants. During the loss against the Buccaneers, Slayton had only 2 targets with no catches, during another embarrassing loss.

Slayton has been ineffective due to the inconsistent quarterback play and could have another rough game. With Tommy DeVito out and Drew Lock in the game, Slayton could have another weak game. There is a chance that Slayton could have another game with no catches for fantasy players.

Wan’Dale Robinson, Wide Receiver (4,700-Draftkings/6,300-Fanduel)

Another sit in Dallas is Wan’Dale Robinson of the Giants, who also could have a rough game for fantasy players. Robinson during the loss on Sunday afternoon had 47 yards with 5 receptions. The Giants offense has been a mess and Robinson could have another inconsistent game.

With the Giants offense being a mess right now, fantasy players should ignore Robinson for Thanksgiving. Fantasy players should be giving thanks for not getting Robinson in their fantasy lineups due to poor offensive numbers this season.

Total Apex Lock of the Game

Rico Dowdle, Running Back (5,500-DraftKings/4,700-Fanduel)

For the Total Apex lock of the game, Dallas running back Rico Dowdle should be your lock of the day. In a win against the Commanders, Dowdle had 86 rushing yards, and 3 receptions for 12 yards.

Dowdle has been a solid running back for a weak Cowboys running back unit and could have a breakout game against the Giants. With the Giants’ run defense being a weak unit this season, Dowdle could have an 80-plus rushing yard game with a few touchdowns for Thanksgiving. Fantasy players will be feasting from Dowdle’s rushing yards against a weak Giants defense to keep their Thanksgiving going.

Total Apex Fade of the Game

Drew Lock, Quarterback (4,500-DraftKings/6,700 Fanduel)

The Total Apex fade of the game will be Drew Lock of the Giants. Lock has not played a lot this season with only 9 passing yards. The Giants originally have DeVito on the helm but he got hurt and is out for the game. Lock does have good experience, but could be a detriment for fantasy players in Dallas.

The Cowboys’ defense despite a down year still has Miach Parsons healthy for the Dallas front seven. Parson could have a great game in sacking Lock for the Cowboys’ defense. Lock is also not familiar with the Giants’ offensive game plan and could get lost against the Cowboys’ secondary.

Conclusion

With Thanksgiving here for families and friends, Thursday’s DFS game could win cash to spend time away from family. Fantasy players could win this Thanksgiving game with the Cowboys receiving core tearing apart the Giants’ defense. Along with the Dallas receivers, is their running game against New York’s weak run defense.

Fantasy players like annoying relatives should also avoid any Giants players due to their awful season for Thanksgiving. With the team’s quarterback situation getting worse, the Giants should not be invited to the fantasy afterparties. Even if the team has a solid fantasy game, the Giants have been a disaster and should be ignored for the rest of the season.

While this game could have an ugly score, it could be a palate cleanser for Thanksgiving. Even with a weak game for fantasy, the players could do well for a DFS game and could give players to keep the day going. While the game could be awful, it will be a distraction for those who want to avoid family and enjoy a good game for fantasy DFS cash prizes.
