With so much on the line, this game will surely deliver another tight game in this series.

New York Yankees C Austin Wells($7,600 on DraftKings)
Wells might be in the best spot in any lineup in baseball. As the New York Yankees cleanup hitter, he hits behind Aaron Judge and Juan Soto while hitting one spot in front of Giancarlo Stanton. That means that he consistently sees great pitches to hit on a daily basis. In this series, Wells has two hits and two RBIs.
With the Royals needing to win this game, they certainly want someone other than Judge and Soto to beat them. That gives Wells a great chance with traffic on the bases to send the New York Yankees to the Championship series. With Wells’s price point being below $8,000 on DraftKings, this becomes the best value pick of the game as the ceiling is very high for New York’s backstop.
Kansas City Royals 2B Michael Massey($7,200 on DraftKings)
Massey might not be one of the players people even have heard of on the Royals but he has made a great impact this series. The second baseman is four for 11 in the series with an RBI. He has been so underrated and undervalued in the series and he has taken full advantage of that.
In game one which was also started by Gerrit Cole, he had a two-hit game. This feels like one of the safer bets to make in DFS for this ballgame as he has produced in every game this series and DraftKings has him at the perfect price point. This is a slam dunk with not a whole lot of risk thrown in there.

New York Yankees DH Giancarlo Stanton($8,600 on DraftKings)
Stanton was the Yankees hero in game three of the division series with a game-winning solo home run in the eighth inning to put the New York Yankees up two to one in the best-of-five series. While it is important that Stanton showed up in such a big moment, that just hasn’t been consistent all year. Stanton had shown moments to step up in the clutch but not even in an entire series.
With him hitting such a big home run, the Royals will more likely pitch to him differently tonight and Stanton hasn’t proven that we will make the necessary adjustment. Stanton was 0 for 4 in the game one in which Wacha. The combination of that and this extremely high price point. It seems like a good idea to pass on Stanton.
Kansas City Royals 1B Vinnie Pasquantino($7,800 on DraftKings)
The Royal’s first baseman has been one of the most important players on the team in 2024. Pasquantino has succeeded more than anyone was expecting but he is coming off a serious injury which has made him an exclusive designated hitter in this series. As a viewer, you can tell the struggles with him coming back so quickly from a serious injury. The DH is hitless in the series and while it might entice fantasy owners to pick a top three player on the team that has to win, that isn’t a good idea. Pasquantino hasn’t proved that he is healthy so until he does, he is an easy bench for DFS players.
