The matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers might be a preview of who will be battling it out for the NFC West. Both teams have also been dealing with injuries lately, but their offenses are about 100% to go. This is also shaping up to be a passing shootout, so quarterbacks and wide receivers from this match-up will be good to pick up.
Arizona Cardinals at San Fransisco 49ers Start em’
Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (Draft Kings Price 7.5K, FanDuel Price 7.4K)
It’s not a far stretch to imagine that a player with 4 touchdowns across the past three games would be good to pick up. Playing Marvin Harrison Jr. here has as much to do with the 49ers defense as it does Harrison’s talent, though. Nick Bosa and the pass rush might have Murray on the run a lot, and he likes to throw to Harrison while under duress.
San Francisco 49ers RB Jordan Mason (Draft Kings Price 7.4K, FanDuel Price 8.7K)
Although losing Christian McCaffrey is never a good thing, San Fransisco can’t help but be happy with how Jordan Mason has performed in McCaffrey’s absence. He has hit the 100-yard mark in three of his four games this season, so look for him to do so again here.
San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings (Draft Kings Price 5.6K, FanDuel Price 5.9K)
The reason to start Jauan Jennings in this game is twofold. First, George Kittle didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday, leaving him questionable for the Cardinals game. Second of all, Jauan is on a streak of great games. He should soak up more targets if Kittle doesn’t play.
Arizona Cardinals at San Fransisco 49ers Sit em’
San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Ayuk (Draft Kings Price 6.3K, FanDuel Price 6.7K)
This might seem odd to read considering Brandon Ayuk just got his big contract and is playing very well. The issue is, with the emergence of Jauan Jennings, it’s difficult to figure out who will get the productions between him, Ayuk, or Samuel. Picking up Ayuk is basically praying for a touchdown since he might not see 100 yards, and that’s not guaranteed in this game.
Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Wilson (Draft Kings Price 4.4K, FanDuel Price 5.2K)
It’s going to be difficult to find targets for Michael Wilson in this game. Considering the 49ers pass rush, Murray may be forced out of the pocket often. This means he won’t have time for checkdowns or secondary options; he is going to look for Harrison Jr. or take off on his own.
Arizona Cardinals TE Trey McBride (Draft Kings Price 5.9K, FanDuel Price 6.5K)
McBride is looking like one of the better tight ends this season. Unfortunately, though, he is just coming back from concussion protocol. Hopefully, the team won’t put him in harm’s way by throwing to him across the middle into the defense.
Arizona Cardinals at San Fransisco 49ers Lock
San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (Draft Kings Price 6.2K, FanDuel Price 7.7K)
It can be difficult figuring out who will be getting the targets in the endzone for the 49ers, but Brock Purdy is guaranteed to throw them. He has thrown for over 230 yards in every game he has played this season, and he will have to keep throwing to keep up with Kyler and the Arizona offense.
Arizona Cardinals at San Fransisco 49ers Fade
Arizona Cardinals RB James Conner (Draft Kings Price 6.5K, FanDuel Price 7.9K)
The Arizona running back has played well this season so far. This simply isn’t a good game script for Conner. The 49ers are poised to take an early lead and keep it for a while, so the Cardinals will have to throw to keep up, leaving the running game as a secondary option.
