MLB DFS Postseason Best Start/Sits For October 2nd

Another day of the postseason is here, and Wednesday’s MLB DFS postseason fantasy lineups could have a great time today. Wednesday’s four Wild Card games could help players win big cash prizes tonight. Tonight is the start of the postseason, and it could have a lot of great moments for fans and fantasy players.

One of Wednesday’s Wild Card games should be the Detroit Tigers against the Houston Astros. Another postseason game that could win fantasy players money, is the Milwaukee Brewers against the New York Mets.

The postseason is here and October’s best will bring fantasy players cash prizes to start the two-month battle for a World Series.

2B Jake Croneworth, Atlanta Braves at San Diego Padres ($3,600 – DraftKings/2,900-Fanduel)

To start today’s MLB DFS postseason lineups, Jake Croneworth of the San Diego Padres should start today’s lineups. In the win against the Braves, Croneworth went 0-2 with a strikeout in the game one win.

Croneworth had a solid 2024 season and could have a great game against Max Fried. Fantasy players could see a multi-hit game from the Padres infielder in a must-win game tonight.

3B/OF Matt Vierling, Detroit Tigers at Houston Astros ($3,900 – DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)

Matt Vierling of the Detroit Tigers is the next player to start for today’s fantasy baseball lineups. In the upset win against the Astros, Vierling went 1-4 with a walk, strikeout, and an RBI

Vierling has been getting hot for the Tigers and could have another solid game against the Astros. With the Tigers in a must-win game, fantasy players should have Vierling in their lineups against the Astros.

1B Rhys Hoskins, New York Mets at Milwaukee Brewers ($4,000 – DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)

The last player to have for your MLB DFS postseason fantasy lineups is Rhys Hoskins of the Milwaukee Brewers. In a loss against the Mets, Hoskins went 0-3 with an RBI and a strikeout in the game one loss.

While Hoskins has struggled, he has hit a home run against Sean Manaea and could have another one. With their backs against the walls, fantasy players should have Hoskins who could have a home run against the Mets in a must-win game tonight.

October 2nd MLB DFS Sits

OF Starling Marte, New York Mets at Milwaukee Brewers (4,600 – DraftKings/2,700-Fanduel)

Starling Marte is the first player who should be on your MLB DFS postseason fantasy benches this Wednesday night. During game one of the Wild Card Series, Marte went 0-2 with a sacrifice fly

Marte has been a cold bat for the Mets and could have another weak night. While the Mets are up 1-0 against the Brewers, they could have a comeback game. Fantasy players should avoid Marte who could be hitless tonight.

C Adley Rutschman, Kansas City Royals at Baltimore Orioles ($4,700 – DraftKings/2,900-Fanduel)

Adley Rutschman of the Baltimore Orioles is another player to put on today’s MLB DFS postseason fantasy benches. In the 1-0 nothing loss against the Royals, Rutschman went 0-4 with two strikeouts in the shutout loss.

Rutschman has been struggling late in the season and could have another hitless game. Fantasy players should ignore the Orioles star due to his struggles and facing an elite arm in Seth Lugo.

OF Michael Harris, Atlanta Braves at San Diego Padres ($4,900-DraftKings/2,900-Fanduel)

Michael Harris of the Atlanta Braves is the last player to sit for tonight’s MLB DFS postseason fantasy pools. During a brutal game one loss against the Padres, Harris went 2-4 with a strikeout.

Harris while the Braves’ best hitter, could have a rough night against Joe Musgrove. With the Padres pitching being elite in game one, fantasy players should ignore the Braves young star in tonight’s elimination game.

October 2nd MLB DFS Best Stack

Fantasy players for Wednesday afternoon’s MLB DFS Postseason fantasy stacks should be Bobby Witt Jr, Vinnie Pasquantino, and Salvador Perez. The Royals are riding high after winning against the Orioles yesterday afternoon.

During the win, Witt Jr drove in a run that was the deciding factor against the O’s. Witt could have a solid game against Zach Eflin along with Pasquantino. While Pasquantino is returning from an injury, he could have a breakout game against the Orioles.

Fantasy players could see a home from the Royals’ young first baseman. There is also the veteran power of Sal Perez and his hitting. Perez could have a home run against the Orioles and win fantasy players money in October.

For today’s MLB DFS postseason fantasy lineups, the Royals bats could help fantasy players win today’s fantasy pools and cash prizes.
