MLB DFS Postseason Best Start/Sits For October 1st

mlb dfs postseason

The MLB season is over but we could get started with tonight’s MLB DFS postseason lineups. Tuesday’s four Wild Card games could help players win big cash prizes tonight. Tonight is the start of the postseason, and it could have a lot of great moments for fans and fantasy players.

One of Tuesday’s Wild Card games should be the Kansas City Royals against the Baltimore Orioles. Another postseason game that could win fantasy players money, is the San Diego Padres against the Atlanta Braves.

The postseason is here and October’s best will bring fantasy players cash prizes to start the two-month battle for a World Series.

October 1st MLB DFS Postseason Best Starts

2B Brice Turang, New York Mets at Milwaukee Brewers ($4,000 – DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)

To start today’s MLB DFS postseason lineups, Brice Turang of the Milwaukee Brewers should start today’s lineups. Turang during the loss against the Mets on Sunday went 1-4 with a strikeout.

Turang had a great weekend against the Mets with three RBIs and went 4-13. The Brewers are ready for a deep run and Turang could have a great game against the Mets pitching tonight.

OF Kerry Carpenter, Detroit Tigers at Houston Astros ($4,200 – DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)

Kerry Carpenter of the Detroit Tigers is the next player to start for today’s fantasy baseball lineups. In the last game of the season, Carpenter went 1-5 with a grand slam in the loss against the White Sox.

Carpenter has been a surprise story for the Tigers and could have a breakout game today. Against a weaker Astros team, Carpenter could have a home run to help fantasy players win today’s MLB DFS postseason pools.

OF Jackson Merrill, Atlanta Braves at San Diego Padres ($4,300 – DraftKings/3,300-Fanduel)

The last player to have for your MLB DFS postseason fantasy lineups is Jackson Merrill of the San Diego Padres. In the last game of the season, Merrill went 1-2 with a walk during a loss against the Diamondbacks.

Merrill has been a spectacular rookie for the Padres and could have a multi-hit game tonight. Against a depleted Braves pitching staff, Merrill could easily help fantasy players win fantasy pools tonight.

October 1st MLB DFS Sits

1B Pete Alonso,  New York Mets at Milwaukee Brewers (4,600 – DraftKings/3,300-Fanduel)

Pete Alonso is the first player who should be on your MLB DFS postseason fantasy benches this Tuesday night. During both games at the doubleheader, Alonso went 2-8 with a strikeout in each game.

Alonso this season has not been solid with a below-average batting average. With the Brewers pitching fully rested against a depleted Mets lineup, Alonso should be avoided by fantasy players tonight.

3B Alex Bregman,  Detroit Tigers at Houston Astros ($4,700 – DraftKings/3,300-Fanduel)

Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros is another player to put on today’s postseason fantasy benches. In the last game played by Bregmen, he went 3-4 with an RBI against the Guardians.

Bregman has been having a solid season for the Astros but could struggle today against Skubal. Skubal has been lights out for the Tigers and fantasy players could see a multi-strikeout game today. DFS players should avoid Bregman against a triple-crown winning pitcher.

SS Orlando Arcia,  Atlanta Braves at San Diego Padres ($2,800-DraftKings/2,600-Fanduel)

Orlando Arcia of the Atlanta Braves is the last player to sit for today’s MLB DFS postseason fantasy pools. Arcia went hitless in the doubleheader against the Mets yesterday, with three strikeouts and a walk combined.

This season for Arcia was a disappointment with a low batting average and poor runs batted in. Fantasy players should avoid the Braves infielder against a hot Padres team that could have him be hitless.

October 1st MLB DFS Best Stack

Fantasy players for Tuesday’s night MLB DFS postseason fantasy stacks should be Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr, and Jurickson Profar. The Padres after a day of rest are ready for an October run against the Braves. This season Machado has been great with 20-plus home runs

Machado could have a great game tonight against Ian Anderson. Along with Machado, is Tatis who could have a breakout game tonight. Tatis has been solid since returning from the IL and could have a home run tonight.

Besides the top players in the Padres, Profar has been having a breakout year for the Padres. Profar has been amazing with the Padres this season and could have a home run against the Braves.

Tonight’s MLB DFS postseason pool should be the Padres stack due to the power and experience in October against a weak Braves team.
