Want to know which wide receivers to pick off the waiver wire for week four of the NFL? Here is a list of the top three wide receivers that are hopefully on waivers for owners to pick up this week as the NFL has wrapped up week three. There were a lot of surprises that have happened around the NFL.
The Carolina Panthers got their first win against the Las Vegas Raiders, The Baltimore Ravens got their first win of the season against the Dallas Cowboys. Besides upsets around the NFL, fantasy football owners are in a whirlwind this year with injuries happening around the league, and with that said things changing on a dime with wide receivers going down and replacements making an impact across the league.
Top 3 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire
Jauan Jennings, WR (SF)
Jauan Jennings scored over 40+ points this week in fantasy football. He was unstoppable against the LA Rams. Jennings had 11 receptions, 175 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Rams defense just could not get a handle on him. Jennings has replaced Deebo Samuel who has a calf injury but he is hoping to return for week four against the New England Patriots.
If Samuel returns then Jennings production might fall but Jennings is still worth having on the roster in all fantasy leagues. He has proven that he is a dominant slot receiver.
Diontae Johnson, WR, (CAR)
Diontae Johnson has a new quarterback in Andy Dalton. Dalton took over the job in Carolina after the Carolina Panthers decided to bench young talent Bryce Young. Dalton has the Panthers rolling on offense and they are a much confident team. Johnson had eight receptions, 122 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Raiders.
Johnson erupted with Dalton at quarterback. Johnson will be a great add on any fantasy roster going forward with Dalton at quarterback for the Panthers. The Carolina Panthers will take on the Cincinnati Bengals in week four at home. Dalton and Johnson will look to keep things rolling against an ok Bengals defense who are ranked 16th on defense.
Christian Watson, WR, (GB)
Now that quarterback Jordan Love is expected to be back for the Packers. Watson should be more productive on offense for Green Bay. Watson has seven receptions, 80 yards and a touchdown through three games. He scored a touchdown in the first game of the season when Love was quarterback. Look for Watson to be active against division rivals Minnesota Vikings next week when Jordan Love returns.
Final Thoughts
These top three wide receivers will not last long if they are on a waiver wire through three weeks. These top receivers have made an impact this week on their respected teams that have their top starters out or players who have underperformed. These wide receivers will look to make the most of their opportunity in week four while they have the chance to make an impact. These wide receivers will be a good addition to any PPR, non-PPR league or DFS leagues.
