He averaged 9.2 fantasy points per game in 2023 and was ranked 21st at his position. Although his production dropped off in the 2nd half of the season, he ended the season on a high note with both a receiving and a rushing TD against the Denver Broncos.

Jakobi Meyers was targeted 106 times while having 71 receptions. Those numbers were pretty impressive, considering he had to share attention with Davante Adams, Michael Mayer, and others. Meyers can have another very productive season and has received nothing but praise from head coach Antonio Pierce.
“Jakobi is that guy,” Pierce said. “When you say I need a dog, Jakobi is that dog. Jakobi is an alpha. Jakobi is fearless. Jakobi works probably as hard as any player on our team.”
Jakobi Meyers will certainly see his share of single coverage with Adams and Mayer demanding the respect of double coverage. He will also likely be involved in trick and gadget plays, where he can showcase his many talents. It would not be surprising to see over 80 catches and 1,000 yards this season if he stays healthy.

At 27 years old, Jakobi Meyers is in the prime of his career, as a young veteran, with the explosiveness that arguably puts him in the top-tier of wide receivers in the league. He’s a leader who will cause match-up problems for any secondary. He can also be a mentor to the younger guys like Tre Tucker and rookie Brock Bowers. Overall, Meyers can, at the very least, be a very good WR2 option if you need one.
