MLB DFS Best Start/Sits for 07/28/2024

MLB DFS

On the last Sunday of July, there is a lot of MLB DFS action to end the weekend with style. This Sunday’s 15-game slate kicks off your afternoon games with style. While the weekend is ending, there is still a chance to earn cash prizes for fantasy players. July is ending but there is a chance to win before the dog days of August.

One of Sunday’s feature games for today’s MLB DFS pools is the San Diego Padres, and Baltimore Orioles ending their outstanding series. Another game to watch for fantasy players is the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers.

The dog days of August are getting close but you could end this weekend with a bang for cash prizes before the MLB trade deadline.

OF Eddie Rosario, Atlanta Braves at. New York Mets ($3,200 – DraftKings/2,700-Fanduel)

To end the weekend, MLB DFS players should have Eddie Rosario in their lineups. In the win against the Mets, Rosario went 1-4 with a home run during the shutout victory. While the Braves have been sluggish this weekend, they could end it with style.

Rosario has great power against lefties and could do well today. Fantasy players could have a steal with the Braves slugger during an important series.

SS Mayson Winn, Washington Nationals at. St. Louis Cardinals ($4,200 – DraftKings/2,800-Fanduel)

Another player that should be in your lineups today is the St.Louis Cardinals, infielder, Mayson Winn. In the loss against the Nationals, Winn went 1-4. St. Louis has been inconsistent this season but Winn has been a bright spot for them.

Winn could have a multi-hit game at an affordable price for fantasy pool players. While the Cardinals are a disaster, Winn could help you win cash to end the weekend.

1B David Fry, Cleveland Guardians at. Philadelphia Phillies ($4,600 – DraftKings/3,100-Fanduel)

The last player to end your fantasy weekend is David Fry of the Cleveland Guardians. In the loss against the Phillies, Fry went 1-3 during the shutout loss. Cleveland even with the loss has some momentum after the All-Star break

Fry could do wonders today against the Phillies pitching, even with a weak game. Fantasy players should have Fry in the lineup due to his consistent hitting.

July 28th MLB DFS Sits

OF Brandon Nimmo, Atlanta Braves at. New York Mets ($5,000 – DraftKings/3,500-Fanduel)

A player to bench in your MLB DFS fantasy pools today is the New York Mets Brandon Nimmo. During the shutout loss against the Braves yesterday, Nimmo went 1-4 with a strikeout. While the Mets have been doing well this weekend, Nimmo has struggled in this important series.

Fantasy players could see the Mets outfielder have a poor game later today. Benching Nimmo could do well for fantasy players to end the weekend.

2B Nico Hoerner, Chicago Cubs at. Kansas City Royals ($4,100 – DraftKings/2,800-Fanduel)

Another player who should be benched from fantasy pools is Nico Hoerner. In the win against the Royals yesterday, Hoerner went 0-5 with an RBI, and a sacrifice fly. Hoerner has not been consistent with the Cubs this season and could play poorly again.

With the way that Hoerner is playing, he could have a multi-strikeout game. Fantasy players should avoid the Cubs infielder at all costs.

OF Teoscar Hernandez, Los Angeles Dodgers at.Houston Astros ($5,000 – DraftKings/3,400-Fanduel)

The last player to have in your lineups today is the Los Angeles Dodgers, Teoscar Hernandez. In the loss against the Astros, Hernandez went 1-5 with two strikeouts. While the Dodgers are a solid team, they have struggled this weekend.

The home run derby winner, could have a long day, facing the Astros pitching staff. Fantasy players should avoid the Dodgers slugger until they are out of Houston’s sight.

July 28th MLB DFS Best Stack

Today’s MLB DFS stack should be the Houston Astros, Jeremy Pena, Alex Bregman, and Jon Singleton. The Houston Astros, after a sluggish start, have been one of the hotter teams in baseball. Yesterday, the Astros stack did well against the Dodgers with Alex Bregman hitting a walk-off home run.

Along with Bregman is the emergence of Jon Singleton and his great hitting. Singleton during the win had an RBI for the Astros. There is also Jeremy Pena, and his great hitting this season. This MLB stack could help fantasy players win cash prizes to end the weekend.

For fantasy players today, having this stack could get you some fantasy cash prizes and will end the weekend with style.
